Results
of a clinical trial* have been published in
the USA suggesting that a treatment for sub-fertile
men can give results within 3 months. The
clinical trial involved 300 men who had low
sperm counts or motility and were in relationships
suffering from long term infertility where
the male factor was thought to be the cause.
One group took a dummy pill and no improvement
was seen in sperm quality. However the group
taking high doses of two naturally occurring
Carnitines showed significantly improved sperm
quality and 28% pregnancy rate.
This is the first clinical study to show improved
pregnancy rates and therefore strongly suggests
that couples might improve their chances of
achieving conception naturally. Proxeed
contains the same dose of carnitines used
in the study above and Costs around £70
per month.
