Male Infertility - Why should the man be tested ?

Test the Man?
Fertility : A male fertility problem contributes to at least 40% of all infertility problems that couples face. Sadly, many men resist being tested and in some cases this means that the woman can go through years of unnecessary treatment. This also means that the couple can go through a lot of unecessary emotional turmoil. Male fertility screening is done by collecting a fresh sample of semen and taking it to a laboratory for evaluation. The lab will look for the number of sperm and the quality of the sperm. The general rule is that the lower the sperm count and the poorer the sperm quality, the longer it will take and the more difficult it may be for a pregnancy to occur. The new home screening test that we have really is a good start and has all the advantages of being discreet and private (no-one else needs to know what you are doing!). For couples concerned to start a family it makes sense to use one! Lifestyle: Men who have a history of taking body building drugs, or are excessive smokers, have a history of excessive alcohol intake, have stressful and dangerous jobs, work with certain pesticides, or sit for prolonged periods are also advised to check their fertility by using our new sperm count test.
