"Kit Contents"

One home sperm count test kit and an instruction leaflet. The following pages will show you the Kit contents, How to collect the semen sample, How to test the sample and How to read the results.

Sample Cups You collect the semen sample directly into the cup provided. The sample must be left for 30 minutes before using in the test. During this time a substance coated onto the surface of the cup will cause the semen to liquefy ready for use.
Sample 'Dropper' Sticks

These are used to transfer the liquified sperm sample to the test stick. Place the open end of the plastic stick into the semen sample, squeeze it between your finger and thumb and then let go so that sample is sucked up into the stick. Then squeeze the sample out into the test stick.

Test cassette

This has four wells labelled A,B,C,D. The well B is where you put the first sample of semen and the well D is used for the second test 3-7 days later.

Reagent Bottles One containing a clear solution and the other containing a blue solution for use in the test.
